After obtaining her degree in Clinical Psychology in Brussels, Sarah pursued a Masters in Investigative and Forensic Psychology at the University of Liverpool. During this time Sarah completed her dissertation on the prevention of extremist violence and the Identifying Vulnerable Persons to Violent Extremism (IVP) Guidance under the supervision of Jon Cole. Whilst completing her dissertation she became increasingly interested in the interaction between psychological, cultural and societal valuables and its role to violence. She is currently undertaking her PhD at the University of Liverpool researching moral decision-making and violent extremism. Research interests: violent extremism, moral decision-making, terrorism.
